BB&T Classic Announces Line-up for December 5th College Hoops Triple Header
WASHINGTON, DC (August 10, 2010)-- Organizers of the 16th annual BB&T Classic presented by Boeing today announced the event will reintroduce the popular triple header format on Sunday, December 5 at Verizon Center in Washington, DC. The event will showcase long-time host universities, University of Maryland and George Washington University, local schools American University and Naval Academy, plus Atlantic 10 three-peat champion Temple University and 21-game winner Florida University. The event benefits the Children’s Charities Foundation (CCF).
The 2010 lineup of games begins when American meets Florida. Navy will face George Washington in the middle match-up. The event concludes when Maryland battles Temple. Game times have not been finalized.
